Ministry Opportunities

The United Church of Christ’s online Ministry Opportunities listing brings together churches and partner ministries with qualified candidates for its ministry positions. (FAQs  about Ministry Opportunities) Both clergy and non-clergy jobs can be posted on the website. Churches in the Iowa, Nebraska and South Dakota Conferences seeking clergy candidates should work with the appropriate associate conference minister for their area. They will offer training and coaching as you move toward creating your churches profile, which will be the main part of your Opportunities listing. Churches seeking to fill non-clergy positions such as church musicians, administrators, and Christian education/faith formation can post these openings on the site. Email Karen Peters, ministry support staff, to have non-clergy positions added.
