Young people listen for God’s Call

How is God calling young people to serve in the world? Teachers. Singers. Social workers. Pastors. The possibilities are endless.

Participants in the Iowa Conference’s Called to Serve retreat Jan. 5-7, 2012 spent time in conversation, reflection, prayer and service. The conversation invited them to tell their own faith story and listen to the stories of others who have answered their call. Silence was observed, making time to listen for God’s voice through a labyrinth walk and other spiritual practices.
