Communication Transitions

Our growing Tri-Conference Ministries (TCM) team is working hard to revamp its communications so that you can be better connected to the news, events and resources important to the life of the Iowa, Nebraska and South Dakota conferences of the United Church of Christ. In the past month since I’ve started serving as the Director of Communications you have seen:

  • A weekly eNews email;
  • Regular posts to the three conferences’ Facebook pages;
  • Events posted to our websites and Facebook pages;
  • Videos introducing our new staff.

There are several other important projects on which I am working, the most important is a full redesign of our websites. I am very optimistic that a new web presence for the TCM will be complete sometime in the first quarter of 2019.

In the meantime, we would appreciate your patience and grace as we develop an excellent digital hub that will not only give you news and information, but provide ways for you to connect with pastors, leaders and lay people who inspire you and your church’s ministries.

Until that new web presence is developed, we would ask that you use the Iowa Conference website as your landing place to get what you need. We are using that space simply because it works better technologically. The use of that website does not reflect any changes to the structure of the TCM. The Tri-Conference Ministries is still a collaborative enterprise to creatively and efficiently share staff among the Iowa, Nebraska and South Dakota conferences of the United Church of Christ.

Thank you for your grace and patience as we develop these new ways to communicate and connect. If you have any questions or comments, feel free to email me.

Grace and Peace,

Rev. Nicole Havelka
Director of Communications
