Certification School in Progressive Christian Youth Ministry The Iowa and Minnesota conferences’ new youth leader training. Our next cohort group starts Aug. 12-17, 2012.

Princeton Institute For Youth Ministry Offers training events for youth and adults throughout the country.

Lancaster Theological Seminary’s Leadership Now Program for youth and adults.  Includes programs for junior and senior high youth that vary in duration, age group, size and theme.

Our Whole Lives (OWL) for youth and adults. A series of sexuality education programs for grades K-1, grades 4-6, grades 7-9, grades 10-12, Young Adults and Adults.  Resources are written by professional sexuality educators and provide accurate information for parents, teachers and pastors to be used in affirming and supportive settings.

Student Ecumenical Partnership  (STEP) offers networking, fellowship and events for United Church of Christ and Disciples of Christ college students.

The Fund for Theological Education (FTE) supports a number of programs for young people considering a call to ministry.

Interfaith Youth Core. A resource for building mutual respect and pluralism among young people of diverse faith traditions.

World Student Christian Federation, a formational ecumenical movement of Christian students.

UCC Young Adult resources along with the Council for Youth and Young Adult Minsitries (CYYAM)

Young Adult Service Communities. The United Church of Christ sponsors summer and year-long opportunities for service while living in community with other young adults.

Council for Youth and Young Adult Ministries. Elected advocacy group for youth and young adults in the United Church of Christ. The Iowa Conference nominates a youth and a young adult to represent our region at each General Synod gathering.

Duke Youth Academy Summer Institute that brings together youth to explore faith through worship, reflection on scripture, service, study and play.

Emory University’s Youth Theological Initiative has a Summer Academy for a limited number of rising high school seniors.  Gathers participants for a three-week experience in Christian theological education.
