The Conference Nominating Committee has begun to prepare a slate of nominees for election at the conference Annual Meeting this fall.  No committee can possibly have firsthand knowledge of more than a small sliver of the talented individuals who make up our churches and who might be called to offer service in the conference.  Your advice and suggestions are very important in this process.

Remember…the work of leadership is that of specific spiritual giftedness.  We believe celebrex xl that ALL the baptized are gifted for ministry….but not all are gifted for EVERY ministry.  Just as only some are called to the ministries of preaching, or administration, or teaching….so only some are called to exercise the leadership gifts of oversight and vision-setting….but SOME are.  We are looking for the suggestion of those kinds of individuals to consider for membership on the conference Board of Directors.

The Nominating Committee also nominates individuals to serve on the Conference Committee for Authorized Ministry (CCAM).

Finally, the Nominating Committee recommends individuals to serve as General Synod delegates.  Suggestions of potential delegates and expressions of personal interest are always gladly received.

The Nominating Committee is ALWAYS grateful for your suggestions and input.  It should be made clear that the committee cannot promise to nominate every person suggested, but every suggestion is carefully considered.  Thank you!
